  1. hiatus…?

    so yeah, school’s starting up again and it’s been one day so far…and I’m already exhausted -_____- basically what that means is that I’ll probably be away from tumblr for a while and by “a while” I think it’ll be until around December break, with maybe a few sparse posts here and there. I’m hoping that I adapt to the exhaustion pretty soon so that I don’t feel like I just got run over everyday. Bye for now :)

  2. Sort of a nail polish and jewelry post. I’m wearing a few coats (2-3 I think) of Sally Hansen HD Polish in “Resolution” and this picture is pretty inaccurate in terms of color for this polish, it’s a lot more blue-toned in this picture than it is in person. Anyways, the necklace I’m holding is the cliche headphone necklace from f21 (http://www.forever21.com/product.asp?catalog_name=FOREVER21&category_name=acc_necklace&product_id=1000020124&Page=all&pgcount=25&sort=lp). I sort of wish the headphones could also be a ring but I tried and it only fits on my pinky when it’s sideways which looks a bit awkward and quite uncomfortable. Oh well, I still like it as a necklace :)

In a post of mine from a while ago when I mentioned buying a few nail polishes while at Burlington Mall I talked about how I couldn’t find any pictures of the neon green polish I bought from the Love&Beauty line. While messing around with my camera I decided to snap a picture of the polish, so yeah, stare its awesome bright neon/lime green glory :D I’m looking forward to trying this in the next month or so and unless I get sidetracked by another nail polish I think I’ll be wearing this next.

This is my last Sally Hansen HD Polish, though hopefully not really the last since I plan to buy some more sometime in the future~ So, this one is called “Three D” and it’s a warm coral shade that flashes a hot pink in most lighting. I’ve worn this on my toe nails for about two weeks and it was a lot of fun to look at as I walked in the sun.

I feel strange posting two of my Sally Hansen HD Polishes and not posting the other two…so here we go~ this is “Laser” which is a sheer glass fleck in a duochrome vibrant blue that flashes bright violet in some lighting. There are two coats of “Laser” over black in this picture and the black base tends to make the duochrome more visible, not to mention it cuts down on the number of coats needed to make the polish opaque. This is also an almost identical dupe of ORLY’s “Lunar Eclipse” though I think that polish might be a tad more opaque than “Laser” but I’m not extremely sure.

  9. this is beautiful, I didn’t have my glasses on earlier and when I quickly scrolled past this looked like lace~ now it looks more appetizing than lace, but still visually stunning ;)

  10. due to a certain person’s (-coughlucycough-) memory of the octopus ring I bought from So Good at Downtown Crossing in Boston, I’ve taken a picture of it and am now posting it here~ so yeah, I have a bright pink octopus ring that’s extremely classy with it’s pink and gold rhinestones xD oh and we can’t neglect the fact that it’s holding a green fish in one of it’s five tentacles :D (octopi have five tentacles now and the fish is adorable ^^) anyways, I love it <3
